Privacy Policy

Money Buckets by thinkthx respects your privacy.

Your data stays on your device. If you enable iCloud, your data syncs via your Apple iCloud account. We do not collect, access, sell, or share your personal data.

1. Overview

Money Buckets is designed to work without accounts, bank connections, or tracking. We built it so your plan data remains under your control.

2. Data You Enter

When you use Money Buckets, you may enter information such as income sources, bucket settings (names, colours, icons), expenses/items, goals, and reminder preferences.

This information is stored locally on your device.

If you enable iCloud for Money Buckets, Apple iCloud is used to keep that data in sync across your devices.

We do not operate any servers that store your plan data, and we have no ability to view or retrieve it.

3. iCloud Sync (Optional)

If iCloud is enabled, your data is stored in your iCloud account and synced by Apple. Apple describes iCloud data as encrypted in transit and stored encrypted at rest.

4. Notifications (Reminders)

If you choose to set reminders, the app will send notifications to your device to help you stay on track. Reminder schedules and settings are stored on your device (and may sync via iCloud if enabled).

5. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

The Money Buckets iOS app does not use advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

The Money Buckets website may use Meta Pixel to measure visits and advertising performance, and MailerLite to present signup forms for updates such as Android launch interest notifications.

Apple may provide developers with optional, aggregated diagnostics such as crash reports and performance information depending on your device settings. You can control these settings in iOS under Analytics & Improvements (including “Share with app developers”).

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

If you submit your email address through a website signup form, your email is processed by MailerLite so we can send the update you requested. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.

Website interaction data may also be processed by Meta when Meta Pixel is active on the site.

If iCloud sync is enabled, Apple processes your data for syncing as part of iCloud.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it. If iCloud sync is enabled, your data may also exist in iCloud until it is deleted from iCloud and/or removed from all devices.

8. Security

Your data is protected by iOS device security, and (if enabled) iCloud protections. Apple documents iCloud encryption and security at a platform level.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.
